As the villagers turn to a soul-summoning ritual to bring Jack’s spirit home, Vernon is plagued by nightmares and visits from a shadowy fishman — the rumored embodiment of the “Abyss Mother,” a sea spirit said to punish the wicked.
What begins as grief spirals into a psychological descent as Vernon’s repressed memories resurface, revealing a tragic truth he has long tried to suppress. Blending folklore and psychological horror, UMPAN is a chilling meditation on guilt, karma, and the unforgiving depths of the sea.
